Collaborating with business stakeholders to create instructor-led and web-based training that is engaging and solves learning gaps & objectives. Leading special planning committee to create Council's new core values and the implementation plan for the values and enhancing the Council's culture.

The Council for Professional Recognition
October, 2020- June, 2023

Used subject matter expertise on the Council’s globally and culturally diverse network of 3K+ early education experts who serve as CDA Professional Development Specialists™ (PDS) to create training assets and training delivery methods. Develops surveys and other data gathering tools to assess training needs and effectiveness. Produces and co-hosts industry-specific podcast, which is also used as a delivery method for training. Writes marketing pieces and newsletters, manages social media, and develops customer experience plans for this network of the PDS.

Expertise Impact:

• Developed, designed, and implemented a new nation-wide virtual verification visit program for more than 8,200 CDA® candidates.

• Wrote the policies and procedures manual for the new virtual program.

• Co-created and produced webinar series of 35 webinars that garnered participation of over 116K learners throughout a seven-month window.

• Created 162 training and education assets for the PDS community, including more than 50 videos, including assets in Spanish.

• Worked collaboratively to develop new online training systems which resulted in the successful training of over 3,000 PD Specialists.

Managed communications and training for the Council’s globally and culturally diverse network of early education experts who serve as CDA Professional Development Specialists™ (PDS), while also managing a team of three employees. Taught employees methods of creating tools to increase their efficiency and quality in their roles and in customer service. Collaborated across the company to produce training and marketing materials. Created and co-hosts industry-specific podcast, “The Reflective Dialogue Podcast.” Developed the department’s social media strategy to achieve progressive external specialist engagement.

Expertise Impact:

• Created 30 marketing and training videos furthering our newly revamped training program.

• Developed and hosted at least 12 presentations and webinars for the PDS Community.

• Collaborated closely with team to increase our unit’s recruitment efforts that led to a 15% increase of new PDS annually.

Custom Ink
October, 2014-June, 2019

Assisted clients, supporters and prospective customers in the implementation of fundraising strategies such as social media and email marketing.

• Helped more than 1,000 clients achieve over $1,000,000 in funds raised since October 2014.

• Handled emotional, personal subject matter of the campaign organizers, such as the death of a family member or a child with cancer.

• Collaborated with leadership teams to develop communication solutions and fundraising strategies for clients.

• Trained new hires on process and working in multiple database systems.

• Kept track of organizer information in SalesForce, Desk and other databases.

• Assessed a fundraising campaign for critical errors and optimization opportunities.

• Provided expert knowledge and guidance to organizers about hundreds of products, design techniques and fundraising and promotional tips.

• Served as organizer’s account manager before, during and after the fundraising campaign.

• Provided troubleshooting and creative problem solving to ensure customer success and satisfaction.

• Served as point person for interdepartmental communication and acted as liaison for Fundraising Department.

• Served as Project Coordinator for several volunteer events for Custom Ink’s volunteer division. Including coordination of actual event and supervising volunteers.
